yeah, those were pretty good. I was just talking to my friend about x-files and whether the “monster of the week” episodes or the “the truth is out there” episodes are better. Monster of the week for sure

I like “monster of week” myself, and I recently re-watched Home because I read that it’s the most disturbing, and it was fine, but not the most disturbing for me.

I haven’t re-watched all of them yet, but I think the best one is still “The Field Where I Died,” which is neither. I’m a sucker for afterlife shit, though.

My wife and I have like, a dozen episodes left in the series, and much like Dexter and Breaking Bad, I don’t know if we’ll ever finish it.

Not really a spoiler, but the truth isn’t out there and the mythology episodes start to get really bad. I stopped watching after First Person Shooter in season 7. There must be something decent after that, but I still haven’t recovered from the stupidity of that episode.

Look forward to Bryan Cranston’s episode Drive , from season 5. It’s one of my favorite MOTW episodes.
